ADDITIONAL CHRISTMAS OPENING HOURS
TAPROOM AUTUMN/WINTER OPENING HOURS
The taproom is in the Fishermans Lodge at Lakedown Trout Fishery, Swife Lane, Burwash, Heathfield, TN218UX. The best route is to enter Swife Lane from the A265 Heathfield Road. Swife Lane is a narrow road so please drive slowly. We look forward to welcoming you to our Lakeside retreat!
Dog Policy
We love dogs at Lakedown, but we have to keep in mind that not everyone else does, and sometimes people just want a peaceful pint. So, you’re welcome to bring your dog but if there is one in the taproom already you may have to leave yours outside or in the car, and if they are yappy, or growly or antisocial in any way they’ll have to leave. Please make sure you bring your own poo bags and please take that away with you.
Children Policy
Children are welcome on the premises until 4pm and must be closely supervised by an adult at all times.
Parents and guardians please note; this is a working fishery, farm and brewery. That means deep water, fishing hooks flying around and heavy machinery moving. If you’d rather a pub with a garden play area we can recommend The Wheel in Burwash, The Bull and the Bell, both in Ticehurst and the Rose & Crown or Middle House, Mayfield.
